Hands-on testing validated the energy efficiency and the cost to operate edge switches the Cisco Catalyst 2960-X edge switches. Compared to the respective Miercom Industry Averages, the X and XR models saved over 50% in annual energy operating costs and consumed 55% less energy as measured in Watts/Gbps.
