Cisco Cloud Services Router (CSR) 1000V Performance Verified
Miercom independently verified the performance of the Cisco Cloud Services Router (CSR) 1000V for its ability to run in a third-party-managed cloud environment and allow an enterprise to extend its network security and services into the cloud. We found the CSR1000V virtual router to deliver the same IOS XE features as its physical counterparts, such as the ASR 1000, while supporting outdated legacy technologies and providing outstanding throughput performance – up to 20Gbps on an x86 Server. The CSR1000V was subjected to a series of configuration and scaling scenarios and showed benefits in all test cases, earning it the Miercom Performance Verified certification.
